We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Manager to lead our Children's Complex Care and Continuing Care team. As a key member of our Integrated Care Board, you will be responsible for managing and developing our services to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Children's Continuing Care and Commissioning team, ensuring effective delivery of services and high-quality care for children and young people.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people with complex needs, working closely with partners across the health and social care sector.
- Manage and coordinate the assessment and commissioning of services for children and young people with complex needs, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
- Work closely with clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that services are delivered in a timely and effective manner, and that children and young people receive the best possible care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, carers, and other professionals, to ensure that their needs are met and that they are involved in decision-making processes.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with national and local guidelines and that they meet the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of training and development programs for staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care for children and young people with complex needs.
- First-level registered children's nurse with significant clinical leadership and organisational management experience.
- Proven knowledge of general/mental health nursing and experience of working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Experience of managing budgets and leading teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services and improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including families, carers, and other professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for children and young people.
