Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at DFDS UK & Ireland. As a critical infrastructure specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ferry trailer transportation services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to transport ferry trailers to various locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing road safety and minimizing environmental impact.
- Perform regular vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo with care and precision, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Class 1 Licence, CPC, and DIGI card, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in transporting ferry trailers. You should also have excellent customer service skills, as this role involves interacting with customers on a regular basis.
