Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatrician Consultant to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a MBChB or equivalent degree and a postgraduate qualification in MRCPCH or equivalent.
  • Have completed general professional training in pediatric medicine and higher specialist training in pediatric medicine.
  • Be on the specialist register or within 6 months of obtaining CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a MD, PhD, or other higher degree.
  • Have experience in assessing and examining children and young people where there are safeguarding concerns.
Teaching and Audit Experience
  • Have experience in teaching medical students and junior medical staff.
  • Have experience in audit, including developing research in the Trust.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Have strong organisation, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
