Job Description

**Senior Project Scheduler**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Scheduler to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and providing critical path analysis and risk management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create and update project schedules using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Critical Path Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct critical path analysis and identify potential risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers to develop project schedules, provide regular progress updates, and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Ensure Schedule Integrity: Maintain baseline schedules through change control, reflecting additional or modified scope, and ensuring schedule integrity is preserved throughout.
  • Provide Regular Progress Reports: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in Pre-Contract Management: Participate in pre-contract management and assessment activities, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements and scope.
  • Develop and Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Create and maintain the WBS in accordance with company processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project progress.
  • Conduct Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Schedule Variance (SV) Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of schedule performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for recovery.
  • Provide Training and Knowledge Transfer: Share expertise and knowledge with colleagues, ensuring a high level of competence in project scheduling and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis and risk management principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
