Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join our busy main dealership in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of light commercial vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
