Experienced Vehicle Technician Wanted in Basingstoke

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy main dealership in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to take the next steps in their career or for a vehicle technician with a fast-fit background to take their first steps into a main dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of light commercial vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
