Senior Vice President of Counterparty Risk Management

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to join our Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team. As a key member of our Underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing counterparty risk and ensuring the integrity of our credit portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Approve credit reviews and assess portfolio risk, liquidity, and credit limits.
- Manage credit exposures to EMEA clients across derivatives, financing, and direct lending products.
- Advise on large transactions and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Independent Risk colleagues to monitor client portfolios and control risks.
- Perform daily and weekly risk analysis and reporting.
- Experience in counterparty credit risk management, preferably at major financial institutions.
- Knowledge of regulated funds, pensions funds, and asset management industry.
- Relevant product knowledge across multiple asset classes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Risk management of financial products, including derivatives and financing transactions.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mathematics, science, finance, or economics.
- An MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- Good communicator.

- Strong problem-solving abilities.
