Lead the Way in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to lead our ambitious multi-year plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As the operational lead, you will be responsible for embedding DEI throughout our operational and strategic activities, ensuring that our external work focuses on achieving greater equity for children, young people, and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy, aligning with our organisational goals and values
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures to promote DEI, ensuring an anti-racism approach in all programmes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote DEI in policy and communications work
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver DEI initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading successful change projects and implementing DEI strategies
  • Strong understanding of intersectionality and its application in DEI initiatives
  • Ability to generate safe reflective spaces for people to share and learn together
  • Strategic thinking and ability to shape organisational thinking around DEI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
