An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work with one of the UK's premier facilities management firms. This role encompasses a variety of maintenance services across multiple sites, focusing on maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness in operations.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will primarily engage in plumbing tasks, necessitating prior experience in this area. The responsibilities include a blend of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive building tasks, both internally and externally, which include:

  • Building Maintenance
    • Roof - address leaks and perform routine gutter and gully cleaning
    • Brickwork - conduct repairs on walls
    • Flooring - fix vinyl and ceramic tiles
    • Car Park / Yard Maintenance
    • Roller Shutters - execute annual PPM and reactive repairs
  • Painting and Decorating
    • Carry out minor painting tasks
  • Plumbing and Drainage
    • Clear blockages in drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks
    • Fix leaking taps and washers
