PRIMARY ROLE


We are seeking a dedicated Cable Prep Technician to join our expanding team at Creative Personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cabling and connections utilized in the events sector and thrive in a dynamic warehouse setting.

While familiarity with live event production is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. Our company culture emphasizes teamwork, where collaboration across all departments is essential to our success, contributing to our long-standing relationships with clients.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


- Hands-on preparation of equipment, primarily within the cables and mains distribution departments, while also assisting in other warehouse divisions as needed.

- Cleaning and recoiling cables returned from productions and hires.

- Checking in cables returned from productions and hires.

- Ensuring all cables and flight cases are functional, clean, maintained, and presented to meet our high standards.

- Maintaining organized and tidy workspaces.

- Testing various types of cables including Cat 5/6/6a, Socapex, and 3 phase mains.

- Conducting general service, maintenance, and repair of cables.

- Loading and unloading of vans and trucks.

- Occasionally handling deliveries, collections, and site work (a full UK driving license is beneficial but not mandatory).

- Upholding high Health & Safety standards and adhering to company policies and procedures.

- Experience in the events industry is preferred.
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation.
- Proficient IT skills.
