Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Specialist to join our expanding company. As part of our design team, you will be responsible for the design of new products as well as maintaining and upgrading existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems, including schematic, PCB layout, mechanical, and software design.
  • Manage design projects from conception to volume manufacture, ensuring technical, cost, and product brief requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Lead design for manufacturability (DFM) and support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.
  • Work with suppliers to select cost-effective technologies and ensure design compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide engineering support to other parts of the business as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in design for manufacture environment, with expertise in analogue and digital circuits, PCB layout, and programming languages such as C and Python.
  • Knowledge of design tools, including PADS Schematic and PCB layout software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
