We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Receptionist to join our team at Babylon. As a Clinical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from the outset.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the clinic location, handling inquiries, and providing information to patients and clinicians.
- Sell and promote our services to patients, answering any queries they may have.
- Effectively manage the reception area, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the clinic for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, responding to patient inquiries and providing support as needed.
- Follow up on requests for appointments, information from hospitals, and other administrative tasks.
- Manage bookings, rescheduled appointments, and patient records.
- Perform administrative tasks, including handling documents, managing medical records, and maintaining stock levels.
- Assist patients with queries about our services and provide support as needed.
- Be a key contact for clinicians and the rota team, managing communication channels and ensuring seamless coordination.
- Be flexible and able to provide cover at other clinics as needed.
- Ensure a clean and welcoming clinical environment at all times, adhering to health and safety procedures and confidentiality protocols.
Requirements
- Receptionist experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
