Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from the outset.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for the clinic location, handling inquiries, and providing information to patients and clinicians.
  • Sell and promote our services to patients, answering any queries they may have.
  • Effectively manage the reception area, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the clinic for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, responding to patient inquiries and providing support as needed.
  • Follow up on requests for appointments, information from hospitals, and other administrative tasks.
  • Manage bookings, rescheduled appointments, and patient records.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including handling documents, managing medical records, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Assist patients with queries about our services and provide support as needed.
  • Be a key contact for clinicians and the rota team, managing communication channels and ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Be flexible and able to provide cover at other clinics as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming clinical environment at all times, adhering to health and safety procedures and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

  • Receptionist experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
