About the Role

We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic advocates of culture to work with us as Relationship Managers, based in Bristol and covering the South West region. There are two full-time Relationship Manager posts available: one with a specialism in Children and Young People, and the other with a specialism in Theatre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of organisations from across the region and advise on and assess funding applications from individuals and organisations across the cultural sector.
  • Contribute to the shaping and delivery of the Arts Council's strategy across the South West.
  • Work closely with the national CYP or Theatre teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with Children and Young People or working in the Theatre sector.
  • Relationship or stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work well across the sector and within Arts Council across various teams.
  • Knowledge of business planning, financial reporting, and cultural placemaking.
  • An understanding of place-based working.
