Aesthetic Instructor

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Aesthetics Lecturer to join our team at Newcastle College.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Aesthetics
• Plan and coordinate lessons, resources, and support to enable learners to achieve their qualifications
• Use the College's online systems to track progress and attendance
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Motivate and inspire learners using up-to-date teaching methodologies
• Set and monitor regular, challenging homework in line with student abilities
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including lesson observations and action planning
• Attend meetings and training days as required
• Ensure accurate completion of class registers and administrative tasks

• Substantial experience in the Further Education and Training sector
• UK-recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education)
• Previous experience working as a Lecturer or Teacher with a successful record in retention and achievement
• Level 3 or above qualification in Aesthetics
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent
• Valid DBS registration with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
• Proven experience of consistently good or outstanding teaching
• Ability to travel to, in, and around Newcastle
