About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instructor to join our team at New City College. As an Electrical Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our Electrical Installation learners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Installation, with a Level 3 qualification and industry expertise. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage students in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach and assess learning on a range of courses, including 16-18s and adult learners, covering levels 1-3 and college-based qualifications and apprenticeships.
  • To work effectively as a member of a strong and dynamic team, liaising with Senior Curriculum Manager and colleagues.
  • To take an active role in own professional development in relation to industry specialism and teaching/assessing role.
