About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional care and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to young residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to meet the social, emotional, educational, health, and mental health needs of young people.
  • Participate in statutory reviews and meetings, and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Provide a positive role model and present a highly professional manner at all times.
  • Undertake relevant training programs and adhere to the National Minimum Care Standards.
  • Contribute to the health and safety of the home, children, young people, colleagues, and yourself.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Registered Children's Residential Home.
  • Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship or Equivalent.
  • Ability to work in partnership with other agencies to benefit young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
