About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional care and development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to young residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to meet the social, emotional, educational, health, and mental health needs of young people.
- Participate in statutory reviews and meetings, and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Provide a positive role model and present a highly professional manner at all times.
- Undertake relevant training programs and adhere to the National Minimum Care Standards.
- Contribute to the health and safety of the home, children, young people, colleagues, and yourself.
- Experience in a Registered Children's Residential Home.
- Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship or Equivalent.
- Ability to work in partnership with other agencies to benefit young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Competitive salary based on 40 hours paid on an hourly rate ranging from £11.15 per hour.
