Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management in all aspects of security, including policy development, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Develop and implement effective security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a secure working environment and provide specialist advice on security-related matters.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, providing recommendations for improvement and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken.
- Manage and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on security procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to the Director of Estates and Facilities and the Trust Board on security-related matters.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- Significant management experience in the security sector or a similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
