Overview

If you are keen on stepping into the role of a Retail Operations Supervisor and possess the enthusiasm to interact with guests while enhancing our retail capabilities, this position may be ideal for you.

Working Hours: 1196 annual hours. This position operates on an annualised hours basis, meaning your monthly working hours may fluctuate, but your salary will be distributed in equal payments.

Compensation: £11.64 per hour

Contract Type: Fixed Term.



Work Environment

As a key member of the team, reporting to the Retail Manager, you will collaborate with a small group of staff and volunteers. Your role will involve engaging visitors with the rich narratives of our organization, showcasing how our product offerings reflect these stories.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily management of the retail operations to ensure commercial success and consistently exceed visitor expectations. You will oversee inventory and merchandise to meet ambitious financial goals, setting a standard for maximizing profitability.

Additionally, you will supervise both paid and volunteer retail personnel, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to deliver exceptional service to our visitors, while promoting and enhancing the unique character of our establishment.

This role requires regular weekend shifts and participation in special events, including our festive light trail event.
