Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance activities, adhering to current procedures and approved source information.
  • Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Comply with current Tool Control procedure and ensure all procedures relating to foreign object debris control are adhered to.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, actively participating in continuous improvement activities.
  • Mentor/train apprentices as and when required, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Competencies:

  • Team worker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide advice as a subject matter expert, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Full compliance and understanding of Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Organisational Relationships:

Reports directly to the Front-Line Manager, ensuring clear lines of communication and accountability.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:

  • Recognised indentured apprenticeship or military equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in mechanical engineering.
  • Human Factors training, ensuring a deep understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Experience of working with Drawings and approved source information, promoting efficient and effective maintenance operations.
