Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of our drivers, ensuring they complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and report on vehicle defects, breakdowns, and damage-related issues.
  • Implement and maintain good control of defect management, dispatch, and delivery processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and improve driver behaviors, infringements, and vehicle efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal legislation and regulations related to fleet operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Transport Supervisor or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Able to make clear and clinical decisions based on data and factual evidence.
  • Able to interpret performance data and recommend solutions.
  • Confident presenter to groups of people.
  • IT literate, proficient in MS Office, including MS PowerPoint and Excel skills for data analysis.
Desirable Skills:
  • HGV licence and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Management CPC qualification.
  • Previous experience working with Isotrak or equivalent telematics and tracking software.
