Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team in Salford and the Northwest region.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position with a very competitive salary and package. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects across various sectors, including Leisure, Defence, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial.

You will work closely with the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management, and be involved in the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Be involved in the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Manage junior surveyors and lead a large project team
  • Have experience of different contract forms and projects ranging between 10m to 50m
Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contractor experience as the SQS with a regional/national contractor. You should have experience of different contract forms and projects ranging between 10m to 50m. Additionally, you should be interested in establishing, managing, and leading a large project team.
