As a Service Technician, you will possess a robust background in electro-mechanical maintenance or service engineering, with extensive experience in handling injection moulding equipment.


  • This position is ideal for both current and former Service Technicians or Maintenance Technicians aiming to transition into a Service Technician role. In this capacity, you will oversee the servicing, installation, initiation, commissioning, and training related to injection moulding machines, automation, and related apparatus provided to clients across the UK and Ireland.
  • Deliver a professional and effective after-sales support service to the company's clientele.
  • Conduct service assistance on the company's products, conveying technical insights and general advice on equipment usage to maximize productivity.
  • Compile technical documentation on processes, technologies, inputs, and materials utilized, to offer recommendations for enhancing products and services.
  • Engage in discussions (both internal and external) with various departments and clients, focusing on resolving issues related to product performance.
  • Advocate for the products, processes, and technologies, to establish competitive advantages for the company's image and offerings in the market.
  • Frequent travel will be necessary during the workweek; a company vehicle will be provided for business purposes, along with accommodation and meal expenses covered by the organization.
  • You will undergo an initial training and mentoring phase, where the successful candidate will shadow existing members of the engineering team.
Experience and technical knowledge of injection moulding machinery is crucial.

* Certification in 17th or 18th Edition electrical regulations is mandatory.

  • All applicants must be adaptable as travel is required throughout the UK and Ireland.
