Are you eager to develop a career in finance while gaining hands-on experience in credit control? We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Credit Controller to join our team in Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the consolidated invoice ledger to ensure accurate financial records
- Process incoming funds and post payments to debtor accounts in a timely manner
- Compile credit exposure and ledger reports to inform business decisions
- Produce monthly statements and send dunning letters to customers
- Chase customers for overdue debts in a professional and courteous manner
Role Highlights:
- Collaborate with a team of 5 credit controllers and the Credit Manager to achieve business objectives
- Administer ledgers exceeding £5 million with precision and attention to detail
- Gain experience in managing customer credit limits and minimizing financial risks
- Enjoy a standard office schedule with regular breaks and an hour for lunch
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze and present financial data
