About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our bank team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution located in Staffordshire. As a Podiatrist with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients with MSK conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and nail surgery.
  • Determine clinical diagnosis and treatment, and maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Contribute to the development of the MSK Health in Justice Team, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
