Are you a detail-oriented and committed individual eager to contribute positively to a dynamic Secondary School & Sixth Form in Hackney? As our Attendance Improvement Coordinator, you will be instrumental in tracking and enhancing student attendance, cultivating a culture of punctuality and accountability among learners.
- Collaborate with Pastoral Leaders to identify students who may require additional support.
- Provide innovative solutions for cases where a student is struggling with attendance.
- Monitor student punctuality by being present at the Academy entrance each morning.
- Conduct investigations into first-day absence notifications for selected students and follow up on any unexplained absences.

A strong dedication to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young individuals is essential for this role. Successful candidates must meet all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
