About the Role

A great opportunity has arisen to join a boutique Property Company as their Trainee Property Manager, with a view to becoming the company's Property Manager as quickly as possible.

This is a unique role, as the company is not a high street estate agent, offering a chance to gain hands-on experience in property management.

Training will be provided, so previous property management or property experience is not necessary.

Company Profile

As a Trainee Property Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and assist in managing a portfolio of between 70 – 100 properties from the outset.

You will carry out your own inspections, attend properties when issues arise, and liaise frequently with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of 120 properties
  2. Conduct regular inspections
  3. Deal with maintenance issues and repairs
  4. Serve legal notices and chase rent arrears
  5. Handle change of occupancy procedures
  6. Maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
  7. Keep landlords and tenants informed throughout the tenancy
Requirements
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Good understanding of property management and lettings administration
  3. Commitment to the role and a willingness to learn
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and as a support role
  5. Excellent customer service skills
  6. Desire to build a career in property management
Package

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum, depending on experience

This is a challenging and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in property management.
