About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Nurse to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced a first episode of psychosis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage a caseload of individuals experiencing psychosis and mental health issues
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, including psycho-social interventions and safety assessments
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to provide holistic support to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions and best practices in mental health care

Requirements

  • NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse
  • Experience working with individuals with psychosis and mental health issues
  • Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
