We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our team at DHU Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the highest level of clinical excellence.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring patients, ensuring comprehensive clinical care. You will work autonomously, utilising your advanced clinical skills to make confident decisions and communicate effectively with patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical histories and physical examinations
- Formulate differential diagnosis management plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers
- Work collaboratively with other members of the service
- Discharge or refer patients as appropriate
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury
- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong negotiation skills and critical thinking techniques
- Effective communication abilities in clinical settings
- Proficiency in computer usage
