About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Ophthalmologist to take up the position of Medical Retina Fellow supporting the Injection service at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Injection service and gain clinical experience in contemporary techniques related to Medical Retina.
- Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain skills in clinical leadership, training, and governance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Ophthalmology.
- GMC Registration with license to practise.
- Competent in intravitreal injections, assessing retinal disease, and using OCT scans/fluorescein angiograms.
- Competent in managing general ophthalmic and acute ophthalmic conditions.
