Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SCR Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a team of Support Workers to provide a safe and supportive environment for service users.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Support service users to maximise their choices, rights, and decisions, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach, with a calm and composed demeanor.
- Dedicated and committed, with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Experience working with children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
- Driver's Licence preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent rates of pay and additional supplements.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate individual needs.
- Ongoing career progression and professional development opportunities.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. SCR Recruitment is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children as a priority.
