Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client, a leading Construction Company based in the UK.

Candidates suited to this role will have worked with predominantly electrical estimating, however need to be familiar with mechanical estimating and will need to lead an electrical estimating team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review specifications, drawings and other relevant documentation
  • Prepare accurate pricing estimates, including labour, materials, subcontract items
  • Determine the type, quantity and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project
  • Manage a team of estimators, ensuring methodical and detailed work
  • Solve any issues that arise during the estimating process

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a team of estimators
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong understanding of both residential and commercial projects
  • Ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting tenders to clients and liaising with them throughout the project
