About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Offshore Energy Analytics team at SSE Enterprise. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in the development, delivery, and operational phases of offshore wind projects around the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and motivate team members to perform at their best and achieve their personal development goals.
  • Prioritize and resource work requests to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Take a leading role in the continuous improvement and development of our tools and processes.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for Energy Analytics to add value to our offshore projects and the wider SSE Enterprise business.
  • Contribute to setting the team culture and strategy of the Energy Analytics team.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in an analytical or technical role related to wind farm development, with expertise in wind resource and energy yield modeling.
  • Experience in mentoring or managing team members.
  • Good knowledge of offshore wind development, global auction processes, and industry challenges.
  • Ability to innovate, think creatively, and problem-solve with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues to various stakeholders.
