Haven is on the lookout for a Commercial Finance Partner to join our dynamic team.
This role focuses on delivering financial insights and strategic support to the Haven Commercial division, aiding in the attainment of financial goals and profitability benchmarks. Key responsibilities include evaluating Haven Fleet operations, converting strategic plans into financial indicators, and facilitating informed decision-making with one direct report.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Head Office, incorporating a hybrid work structure with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of financial performance across revenue channels.
- Understanding and interpreting relevant KPIs for performance evaluation.
- Providing insights that guide strategic decision-making through effective communication of financial data.
- Promoting a culture of risk awareness by proactively identifying challenges.
- Grasping the components of financial statements and Fleet management practices.
- Clearly articulating the Fleet's financial status and its implications for business objectives.
- Leading business reviews to address financial and operational risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to create cohesive annual budgets.
- Continuously monitoring financial performance against established budgets.
- Offering financial expertise for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Contributing to regular reporting and stakeholder engagements.
What We Expect From You:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their implications on operations.
- Ability to assess the financial impact of operational decisions.
- Familiarity with accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance matters.
- Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and leadership.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and effective time management.
- Post-qualification experience in Professional Accounting or Finance.
- Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and commitment to financial compliance and culture.
