**Job Title:** Operations Superintendent - FPSO Operations

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent to join our team at Bumi Armada. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our FPSO facilities, with a focus on process safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a high level of safety acumen and ensure a high level of process safety awareness among team members.
  • Operational Support: Provide first-line operations and process support to the Armada Kraken FPSO Operations team, addressing operational issues and unplanned events that impact production delivery.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and review related operations procedures for use in day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor production plant and associated mechanical control systems and equipment, ensuring that appropriate programs are developed in support of operations plant optimization.
  • Loss Reporting: Manage the unit loss reporting process, ensuring that all production losses are recorded and investigated with appropriate remedial action recommendations submitted to the unit management team.
  • Contract Management: Own operational contracts relating to first-line operations and production support, ensuring that these contracts effectively support production delivery objectives and that supporting vendors and suppliers comply with company standards.
  • Process Technical Assistance: Provide discipline-based input in support of operations to any systems, such as maintenance or verification, and for all related aspects of the topsides facilities operations and for all FPSO marine systems that interface with the topsides.
  • Offshore Site Visits: Carry out regular offshore site visits, working closely with the offshore Production Supervisor.
  • Operational Planning: Provide input to operational (28d/90d) and shutdown plans, provide direction, input, and monitoring of production regarding execution and timely resolution of issues that impair operating efficiency/production.
  • Modification Support: Provide operational support to modification or study teams or projects, ensuring that all plant modifications fully comply with Management of Change (MOC) procedures, company specifications, standards, and procedures, and expectations, and are fully assessed and approved.
  • Budgeting: Provide input to the development of the operating budgets, maintain oversight of several cost codes, and report accurately during monthly cost control meetings with the Finance team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure UK legislative requirements and UKCS best practice are met, while aligning as closely as possible with Corporate HQ policy.
  • Operational Risk Management: Identify operational risk and mitigate same.
  • Uptime and Availability: Ensure uptime and availability KPIs are met.
