Hours: 40 hours per week

The role involves supporting the daily operations of the entire facility and overseeing all personnel. This position requires a flexible shift pattern to ensure management presence at all times.

The objective is to deliver a high-quality, effective service to all users of the Goals facilities while assisting the General Manager in crafting sales and marketing strategies to enhance and maximize revenue opportunities. The General Manager will work to develop and implement operational and sales plans aimed at achieving operational excellence and optimizing income potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all staff members, including Team Members, Cleaners, and Maintenance personnel, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to all patrons and guests at the facility.
  • Contribute to the formulation of a business development strategy focused on enhancing all facets of the business, particularly in driving football-related income.
  • Assist the General Manager in the recruitment and selection process for all non-managerial positions.
  • Ensure adherence to sound administrative practices and compliance with Company reporting protocols.
  • Implement the Company Health & Safety policy thoroughly and ensure that all staff training is completed and maintained.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to foster strong team communication and occasionally lead meetings with other staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with all cash and stock reconciliation procedures as dictated by Company policy.
  • Maintain all facilities, fixtures, and fittings within the Club to a high standard, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate the procurement of stock, goods, and services as necessary to ensure smooth and effective club operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required, compatible with the nature of the position. This list is not exhaustive and serves to provide an overview of the position and its key responsibilities.
