Scene Build Specialist

As a Scene Build Artist at BlueZoo Animation Studio, you will be responsible for creating and populating Harmony scenes to prepare them for the animation team. You will also troubleshoot technical, narrative, and visual issues that arise during the scene build process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Track and gather all necessary assets for each scene, including backgrounds, rigs, props, crowds, animatics, and audio.
- Attend episode and asset review meetings and take notes related to the content of each scene.
- Position elements within each scene according to the shot's layout to ensure each shot is ready for animation.
- Maintain organized production files according to studio naming conventions and a clean Harmony Node View.
- Work closely with Animation Leads to ensure the Scene Build workflow delivers assets suitable for the animation team.
- Collaborate with BG Leads to ensure continuity and correct staging across the episode.
- Work with the Pipeline team to optimize Scene Build workflows.
- Depending on resources available, you will have the opportunity to learn skills from other departments, such as animation, design, or rigging.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a good understanding of animation and design principles. You should have a portfolio demonstrating at least one relevant animation industry skill and excellent communication skills.
