Maintenance Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at LG Engineering Solutions Ltd. As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Work with electrical and mechanical drawings to undertake fault finding of equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
  • Weld and fabricate equipment to maintain, improve, and apply corrective measures to ensure safe running of equipment
  • Install, test, and commission equipment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter or a similar role
  • NVQ / Time served or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
  • Basic welding experience is advantageous
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet the needs of the business
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
