Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at LG Engineering Solutions Ltd. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance on our heavy plant and industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working to schedules to carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Working with electrical and mechanical drawings to undertake fault finding of equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
  • Welding and fabricating of equipment to maintain, improve and apply corrective measures to ensure safe running of equipment
  • Installing, testing, and commissioning of equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role
  • NVQ / Time served or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
  • Basic welding experience is advantageous
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet the needs of the business
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
