About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Trainee Patent Attorney to join our dynamic Intellectual Property team at Lewis Silkin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting, filing, and prosecution of software/electrical patents for UK or EPO;
  • Collaborating with IP lawyers and commercial lawyers to provide solutions to complex, multijurisdictional business challenges;
  • Engaging in business development and extracurricular activities to enhance professional and personal development;
  • Providing a supportive environment for clients and wider community, embracing diversity & inclusion;
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative results and trigger discussions;
Requirements
  • Part-Qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney;
  • Excellent academic background in a computing or electrical technical discipline;
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Team player with excellent time and deadline management skills;
  • Competency in MS Office suite and time recording experience;
