Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at NonStop Consulting. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting foster families and ensuring the well-being of children and young people in their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a small caseload of foster families located in various areas, providing guidance and support to foster parents and children.
  • Work closely with therapists, other social workers, foster parents, and educational experts to ensure children receive the right treatment and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic fostering models and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the out-of-hours team to ensure seamless support for foster families.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and Foster Carer Support Groups to share best practices and address challenges.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in working in fostering or Looked After Children Teams.
  • Hold a Social Work Degree and a driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services.
