Air Conditioning Technician – Airport Facilities

Pertemps TM is currently seeking skilled AC/Refrigeration technicians to join a prestigious facilities management organization. This opportunity involves working within airport environments, providing essential maintenance services.

With a strong reputation built over years of successful operations, the company specializes in construction fit-out and facilities upkeep for high-profile commercial clients, including airports.

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering airside maintenance services to various airport amenities such as lounges, dining establishments, and retail spaces. You will work with a diverse range of systems, including:

  • VRV systems
  • VRF systems
  • Split and Multi-split systems
  • Cold storage units
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Refrigeration units
  • General mechanical and building service maintenance

The ideal candidate should possess a level 2 qualification in AC & refrigeration, hold FGAS category 1 certification, and have relevant experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and repair tasks for the specified systems.

All necessary airside training and qualifications will be provided by the employer.

In return, the company offers:

  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from 18 to 26PH for a 40-hour PAYE permanent position
  • Company vehicle with on-site refueling options
  • Mobile phone provided by the company
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, and uniform supplied, along with pension and death in service benefits
  • 22 days of annual leave plus public holidays
  • Standard working hours from 07:45 to 16:45
  • Night shifts typically from 21:00 to 03:30/04:00
  • Flexible role with hourly pay adjustments based on hours worked, with no restrictions on overtime
  • An average of 6 to 8 nights of Planned Preventative Maintenance each month, with flexibility as long as services are completed timely
  • Opportunities to work at multiple airport locations
  • Overtime compensation at time and a half for nights from Monday to Saturday and double time on Sundays
