Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Sopra Steria. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement process is conducted efficiently, clearly, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide procurement support to internal stakeholders, assisting in supplier onboarding and addressing first-line queries.
- Run multiple small, medium, and large projects concurrently, adhering to tight deadlines and workload commitments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve procurement processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively within and external to the procurement team, encouraging a culture of collaboration and partnership.
- Lead procurement-related projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standard processes.
- Mentor, support, and lead a small team, promoting professional development and growth.
- Experience/knowledge of end-to-end procurement delivery.
- People leadership skills.
- High-quality, flexible, and responsive service delivery standards.
- Experience in using strategic sourcing tools such as e-tendering platforms (SAP Ariba/Atamis e.g.).
- Willingness to work towards CIPS level 4.
- Experience of working within public sector procurement and knowledge of PCR 2015 and understanding of New Procurement Act 2023.
- Experience of working within NHS procurement environment.
