Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Civil Design Engineer to play a key role in our ongoing practice and growth strategy. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications at all stages of design solutions. You will also respond to client, stakeholder, and contractor requests for information, attend meetings and workshops, and communicate design ideas through sketches, models, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications at all stages of design solutions
  • Responding to client, stakeholder, and contractor requests for information
  • Attendance at meetings and workshops with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Co-ordination of design information with design team members and stakeholders
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in civil design engineering, with at least a year being in the UK
  • Experience with Microdrainage, Infodrainage, and Civil 3D
  • Experience in developing SuDs strategies, detailed design of below-ground drainage networks, detailed design of s38 and s278, and preparation of FRAs
