Aldwych Consulting is a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join their exceptional civils team. As a consultancy, they work across various sectors, including commercial, hospitality, and leisure, residential, education, public realm, and regeneration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications for design solutions
  • Respond to client, stakeholder, and contractor requests for information
  • Attend meetings and workshops with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, and communicate design ideas through sketches, models, and presentations
  • Coordinate design information with design team members and stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience, with at least a year in the UK
  • Proficiency in Microdrainage, Infodrainage, and Civil 3D
  • Experience developing SuDs strategies, detailed design of below-ground drainage networks, detailed design of s38 and s278, and preparation of FRAs
