Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Night Nurse to join our dynamic team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a Registered Night Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals with complex physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional challenges.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the clinical needs of individual clients undergoing rehabilitation at our state-of-the-art Care and Rehabilitation Centre.

Assist clients in achieving a high standard of physical and personal well-being, including diet, hygiene, and appearance.

Implement and evaluate the efficacy of care plans and therapy guidelines for all clients.

Administer and audit medication in conjunction with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support.

Manage and assess continence and dietary needs in collaboration with specialists.

Ensure a safe environment and infection control guidelines are maintained.

Create and maintain accurate records of clinical care.

Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and external professionals as required.

Train staff on clinical care needs and supervise Support Workers.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Registered Nurse Adult with valid NMC pin.

Evidence of post-registration education and practice.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

Post qualification experience.

Experience of working with people with acquired brain injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, encephalitis, and tumour.
