Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists to deliver exceptional care and support to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in providing essential equipment as determined by client assessments, ensuring safe usage through demonstration and instruction.
  • Implement and adapt action plans tailored to the needs of clients and their caregivers.
  • Educate clients on innovative techniques to manage disabilities effectively.
  • Suggest minor modifications to enhance clients' living environments.
  • Recognize situations that necessitate the intervention of an Occupational Therapist or a more experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant, and make appropriate referrals.
  • Offer continuous support to clients and their families regarding the impacts of disabilities.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Prior experience working with adults facing disabilities in community settings.
  • Familiarity with minor assistive equipment.
  • An Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be arranged).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
