About the Role

The Marketing Science team at Mindshare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Account Director. This position combines hands-on analytics, project management, and client servicing, requiring a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead projects with limited oversight, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Client Servicing: Act as a key contact for clients and the wider agency, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Technical Skills: Develop and implement advanced analytical models, with a focus on Media Mix Modeling (MMM).
  • Development: Contribute to the development of new products and services, and support the creation of Marketing Science credential materials.
  • Pitching: Support new business pitches by showcasing Mindshare's marketing analytics capabilities.
  • Presentation: Produce and deliver insightful presentations to clients and the agency, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Management: Train and line manage junior team members, helping them achieve their career goals.
Requirements
  • Analytical or numerate degree, such as statistics, econometrics, mathematics, sciences, or economics.
  • Substantial experience using analytical methods in an agency, consultancy, or internal business function.
  • Proven track record of delivering analytical projects, particularly MMM.
  • Strong R or Python skills for data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to organize data in a systematic and repeatable way.
  • Ability to understand and consult on a client's business with a focus on marketing.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and client-side stakeholders across all project stages.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
