Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and detailing of rail civil infrastructure, including accurate and appropriate imagery.
Key Responsibilities- Design and detail rail civil infrastructure, including retaining walls, pad and piled foundations, steelwork, RC concrete slabs, and masonry walls.
- Produce specifications, calculations, and details for various civil engineering projects.
- Liaise with CAD technicians to produce drawings and input into multidisciplinary tenders.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete challenging projects throughout the UK.
- Work on signalling civils enabling, level crossings, power enabling works, OLE foundations, and temporary works.
- Ensure designs meet specification and expectation, and introduce improvements where appropriate.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in design and detail of structure and superstructure solutions in Rail.
- Ability to work as part of an integrated design team and act on instructions from Design Manager.
- Prior experience working in a construction environment is desirable.
- PTS certificate.
- Committed to continuous improvement and learning.
- Either hold professional membership or working towards.
- Proficient in use of spoken and written English language.
- UK citizen or indefinite leave to remain.
- Office locations in Birmingham, Doncaster, Manchester, or York.
- Car allowance or company car.
