Job Title: Engineering Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our Compliance Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued delivery and development of our quality and safety assurance system as it applies to the engineering and maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fulfil the UK CAA accepted role of nominated Compliance Monitoring Manager in accordance with our airworthiness and maintenance regulatory approvals.
  2. Be accountable for the effective maintenance, development, and delivery of our compliance monitoring processes as applied to airworthiness and maintenance activities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  3. Take ownership of the continued integration of compliance monitoring processes within our integrated Management System, including Operations Compliance Monitoring, Safety, Security, and ISO Management System components.
  4. Manage the end-to-end Licenced Engineer Company Authorisation process and ensure it remains effective and efficient at all times.
  5. Deliver demonstrable improvements to our Organisation's performance through the application of compliance and safety assurance activities and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Be personally responsible for delivering a safe service in all facets of the role in line with our SMS, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
  7. Manage, develop, and lead a team of Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure their skillsets and subsequent activity meets the needs of the organisation and remains, at least, regulatory compliant throughout.
  8. Lead on the development of comprehensive compliance and safety data sets and subsequent reporting to Senior Leadership as a fundamental component to regulatory-required Management Review.

Requirements:

  1. UK CAA Part 66 Licence or equivalent Engineering degree and experience (10 years + in an engineering/maintenance environment)
  2. Demonstrable experience in a nominated position within an approved aviation organisation with appropriate responsibilities
  3. Sound understanding of both compliance monitoring and safety management principles
  4. Substantial expertise of auditing in a civilian and/or military environment
  5. Experience and competence necessary to fulfil the requirements of a UK CAA Form 1769 Compliance Monitoring and/or ARC Signatory post.
