Teaching Assistant for Secondary-Age Students

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to collaborate with our teachers in providing exceptional support to our students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our teachers in classes, small groups, or on an individual basis, ensuring that our students receive the personalized attention they require.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Support the academic and personal development of SEND students in classes, small groups, or individually
  • Attend to the physical needs of students with disabilities, providing necessary assistance and accommodations
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with autism, fostering their growth and progress
  • Work harmoniously with professionals, including specialist therapy providers, to ensure comprehensive care for students
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the unique needs of students
  • Maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages student engagement and well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
